This painting was one of 200 chosen from about 2400 entries in the 2009 Oil Painters of America National Exhibition which was held at the Sage Creek Gallery in Santa Fe, NM in May. The contest was open to artists in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. The painting sold on opening night.
